Hello, everyone.
Since school’s out, I just wanted to take some time to talk about a subject in school this year that caught my interest: Science.
This year’s science classes were pretty enjoyable; with the labs and dissections we did.
There was the cell membrane lab using bubbles and bendy straws bent into squares, the time we had to look into a microscope to identify a few types of cells…
I even cut open a sheep’s eye at one point!
Also, I made a Minecraft model of the animal cell that we studied, sadly no extra credit from it though.
(You can check it out on the Projects page under “7th grade”.)
Oh, and a hot take about the sheep’s eye…
The tapetum lucidum looked like art!! Like a starry night sky! It was actually amazing. If you’ve done an eye dissection and agree with me, comment down below.
In conclusion, science was a great unit this year, and I honestly can’t wait for next year’s models and labs.
Well, that’s all for today. See ya.
